The Steering Committee of the NCST

The Steering Committee was established to provide guidance to the Secretariat during inter-sessional periods. It is chaired by Dr. Arnoldo Ventura, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Science and Technology, and comprised of selected members of the Commission.

Activities of the Committee are guided by the priorities set by the Commission. As such they are congruent with enacting the mandate of inculcating S&T in the country's productive and service industries. Sub-committees are often activated to carry out specific tasks.

The Steering Committee meets quarterly and works closely with the Secretariat.
